PhysMed would like to introduce Michelle Krieger. Michelle is our Speech Language Pathologist at PhysMed Iowa Home Healthcare. Her goal is to provide compassionate care to all of her patients, and make sure each one is being cared for with top quality services for a quicker recovery. Michelle has always had a special place in her heart to help those in need and really loves providing the services in the patient’s home where it is more functional and comfortable for them. She has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, skilled care, long term care, and home health care for pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
Michelle obtained her Associate’s Degree at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa. She then transferred to Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, as well as her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology. She went on to further her education by becoming certified in Orofacial Myology where she is in the process of starting her own private practice as an Orofacial Myologist.
Michelle resides in the Quad Cities with her significant other, Mike, and their 7 children. Michelle was a foster parent for 9 years and adopted 5 children. She is currently a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA worker) where she volunteers to assist children who are in foster care with the Department of Human Services. She also volunteers at King’s Harvest Homeless Shelter. She likes to attend concerts, go to garage sales, and help those who are in need.
