Occupational therapy helps patients who have physical, developmental, or emotional limitations that prevent them from performing functional tasks, often called Activities of Daily Living. Our occupational therapists instruct you to use special techniques and equipment to improve function and independence in everyday household tasks, such as dressing, eating, bathing, cooking, or making your bed. The shared goal of the patient and Occupational Therapist is to assist you to become as independent as possible in the daily tasks that matter to you.
